THE ROYAL AIR FORCE CHARITABLE TRUST ENTERPRISES IS BEST KNOWN FOR STAGING THE WORLD'S GREATEST AIRSHOW

The origins of the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) stretch back to an airshow first held at North Weald Airfield in 1971. Inspired by two air traffic controllers, Paul Bowen and Tim Prince, this modest event, organised wholly by volunteers, was originally held in support of the Royal Air Forces Association.

Today, the Royal International Air Tattoo is a world-class celebration of aviation as well as a charitable activity.  When you buy tickets or merchandise, you are directly supporting the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust (RAFCT), charity number 1176054.

We promote the Royal Air Force and Inspire young people to fulfil their potential in air, space and technology.

Our vision is a world where every young mind, regardless of background, disability, race or gender, can experience and thrive in a STEM, aviation or space career.
