Emma Wellman Operations Director

New to the team, Emma took over as Operations Director in September 2024.  She brought with her over 25 years working within the events Industry on a range of different exhibitions and events, many of which were spent at Olympia London in charge of Traffic, Security, Medical, Logistics and Sustainability.  Although 2025 will be her first RIAT heading up the team she has been involved with the event in a consultancy basis since 2022.

The Operations Department includes both Ground and Air Operations with support from volunteer teams covering, Admissions, Park and View, RAF Air Cadets, the Site Team, Showground Reception and the Transport Team.  The department also covers all aspects of Safety, Security and Emergency Planning.
