About the role:

The Techno Zone® Sponsorship are to provide support and assistance to the Techno Zone® Logistics and Crew teams during the set-up phase and over the show weekend. The Techno Zone® Sponsorship Supervisor will be responsible for working to facilitate the load in, operation and derig of the Techno Zone®. 

Main Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide strategic direction to a team of sponsorship assistants in setup and dismantling, ensuring smooth Installation of branding and signage across the showground
  • Act as a primary point of contact for all sponsorship assistants, offering support and guidance as needed, escalating any issues to the Techno Zone® and Sponsorship Manager or Techno Zone® Executive where necessary
  • Deliver showcase furniture in collaboration with the Techno Zone® Logistics team 
  • Assist the Techno Zone® Crew and Logistics team to ensure all areas are safe, accessible, and appropriately prepared for visitor movement and engagement
  • Manage and coordinate a rota, ensuring all team members have equal daily responsibilities and all Techno Zone® areas have team coverage at all times

What commitment is required?

7 Days – Tuesday pre-event to Monday post event.

Travel:

In line with our sustainability commitment, we strongly encourage volunteers to car share wherever possible, and/or utilise public transport.

The following is in place to support our volunteers with any out-of-pocket expenses.   

  • Motor Mileage: Claim 45p per mile (maximum 315 miles) return mileage to RIAT and to encourage car sharing, an additional 5p per additional passenger may be claimed by the vehicle driver.   
  • Train Fare: Travel should be standard class; reimbursement will be made up to the maximum claim amount (£100.00) on the production of receipts, tickets, or confirmation email.
