About the role:

The Techno Zone® Logs are to provide support and assistance to the Techno Zone® and Sponsorship team during the set-up phase and over the show weekend. The Techno Zone® Logs will be responsible for working to facilitate the load in, operation and derig of the Techno Zone®. 

Main Responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with setup and dismantling, ensuring smooth access for exhibitors and contractors as required
  • Arrange the furniture within the Techno Zone® marquee
  • Collaborate with the RIAT Site Team and external contractors to deliver and maintain the Techno Zone® infrastructure
  • Ensure the Techno Zone® is safe, accessible, and appropriately prepared for visitor movement and engagement
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for addressing logistical enquiries from exhibitors and contractors

What commitment is required?

8 Days - Monday pre-event to Monday post event

Travel:

In line with our sustainability commitment, we strongly encourage volunteers to car share wherever possible, and/or utilise public transport.

The following is in place to support our volunteers with any out-of-pocket expenses.   

  • Motor Mileage: Claim 45p per mile (maximum 315 miles) return mileage to RIAT and to encourage car sharing, an additional 5p per additional passenger may be claimed by the vehicle driver.   
  • Train Fare: Travel should be standard class; reimbursement will be made up to the maximum claim amount (£100.00) on the production of receipts, tickets, or confirmation email.
