Auster Mk.5 - Civilian
The Taylorcraft Auster was a British military liaison and observation aircraft produced by the Taylorcraft Aeroplane Company during the Second World War.
The Auster saw service with the RAF and other nations, such as Norway, Pakistan and the Netherlands. The Mk.5 was the most advanced with bad weather instrumentation and armour plating for the pilot.
This particular model was built in 1945 and flew with the RAF as TW439, colours that it flies with again today.
