EF2000 - Germany
Germany operates the second largest number of Eurofighters after the UK. It still refers to the type simply as the Eurofighter, or EF2000, rather than the Typhoon. Four of the air arm's Taktischen Luftwaffengeschwader (Tactical Air Wings) fly the aircraft in Luftwaffe service, with 74 at Neuburg sending an aircraft to RIAT 2018. Germany initially utilised the Eurofighter solely in the air-to-air role but is now developing its employment of the aircraft's multi-role capabilities.
