Gazelle AH.1 - UK
A faithful servant of the British military since the early 1970s, the Gazelle, developed by Westland and Aérospatiale as part of the joint effort that also led to the Lynx and Puma, does not have long left in UK service. Only a handful of Gazelle AH1s remain in use with the Army Air Corps, this one-time tank-killer now serving in various training and support functions. It is still an outstanding observation and reconnaissance platform thanks in no small part to the visibility from its cockpit.
