PC-9M Swift - Slovenia
Eleven Pilatus PC-9s of a dozen originally delivered in two batches equip the Slovenian Air Force, all stationed at Cerklje ob Krki in the south-east of the Balkan country. Of these, nine are upgraded PC-9M versions. The type, known as the Hudournik (Swift) in Slovenian service, is used both as a trainer and as a light attack platform, hence the camouflage scheme worn. Iron bombs, rockets and guns may be carried for those purposes. The single-turboprop aircraft was originally designed and built by Swiss manufacturer Pilatus, and has been sold to many customers around the world. Slovenia has operated its PC-9 fleet since 1995.
