Puma x2 - France

The Aerospatiale SA 330 Puma first flew in 1965 and quickly became synonymous with medium lift troop and equipment movements amongst the British and French armed forces. The type has seen operational service all across the globe and has been continually upgraded by operators to bring it up to date with the latest avionics and systems.
The aircraft attending RIAT 2018 come from the 5e Régiment d'Hélicoptères de Combat (5th Combat Helicopter Regiment) based at Pau, along France's Southern border with Spain.
