EH-101 Merlin - Denmarks

The Royal Danish Air Force's EH101 Merlin Mk512s have two roles: tactical troop transport (TTT) and search and rescue (SAR). Accordingly, its fleet of 14 is role-divided, with eight TTT-equipped and six SAR-equipped examples in service. The transporters boast hi-tech self-protection systems and can carry up to 45 troops, while the rescue versions' interior acts as an airborne emergency room and boasts advanced medical equipment and a doctor on every flight. The helicopter's rear loading ramp enables rapid troop or stretcher entrance/egress, as required.
