PC-21 - Qinetion

The PC-21 is a tandem seat advanced trainer, powered by a Pratt & Whitney PT6 turboprop, giving a jet like top speed of over 400mph.

Manufacturer Pilatus handed over the first PC-21 to QinetiQ in July 2018, with the second following in the final quarter of the year. Both aircraft have been produced with a fully integrated flight test instrumentation capability and their acquisition forms a key part of a transformation and modernisation project currently underway at ETPS.
