RJ70 - Qinetion

The Avro RJ, a development of the British Aerospace 146, joined the QinetiQ fleet after the retirement of the Andover and BAC One-Eleven. The organisation purchased two ex-commercial aircraft: an RJ100 and a smaller RJ70. The RJ70 entered service with QinetiQ in 2012. The two aircraft, both specially instrumented, support ETPS in the instruction of large aircraft test techniques, low-speed flight and civil certification testing.
