SA330B Puma - France

The Aerospatiale SA 330 Puma first flew in 1965 and quickly became synonymous with medium lift troop and equipment movements amongst the British and French armed forces. The type has seen operational service all across the globe and has been continually upgraded by operators to bring it up to date with the latest avionics and systems.

The aircraft attending RIAT 2019 come from the 3e Régiment d'Hélicoptères de Combat (3rd Combat Helicopter Regiment) based at Etienne, close to the border with Belgium, Luxemburg and Germany.
