American General AG-5B Tiger - Civilian
Developed from the American Aviation AA-1 Yankee Clipper, the AG-5B Tiger is a 4-seat lightweight high speed aircraft used for general aviation and training. The Tiger is a development of the AA-5 Traveler and Cheetah which were further developed by Grumman following their acquisition of American Aviation in 1971. Production of the AA-5B Tiger ended when Gulfstream acquired the parent company. Since then a number of companies have been set up to produce limited quantities of the AG-5B Tiger before each experiencing financial difficulties. The most recent being True Flight Holdings LLC however, at the time of writing production has not yet re-commenced.
