BAE Systems Hawk Mk.167 - Qatar

Making its RIAT debut this year is the Hawk Mk165 Advanced Jet Trainer from 11 Squadron of the Qatar Emiri Air Force. Based at RAF Leeming in Yorkshire as part of a joint training agreement with the Royal Air Force, these newly delivered Hawks are some of the most advanced ever made. Able to simulate the systems of more front-line aircraft such as the Typhoon thus minimising time needed at conversion units, the Mk165 is able to meet all pilot training requirements from the point they leave basic flight training through to commencing conversion on to their selected front-line type.
