Embraer Phenom T1 - UK
The Embraer Phenom 100, known as the Phenom T1 in RAF service has taken over the multi-engine aircrew training duties from the King Air B200 and B200GT under the MFTS. With its touchscreen cockpit and comprehensive navigation, communications and flight safety suite, the Phenom 100 has delivered a quantum leap in multi-engine flying training. In capability as well as cockpit layout it is far closer to the frontline types - including the Atlas - onto which its students will progress.
Built in Melbourne, but delivered through Embraer's military facility in Brazil, the first RAF Phenom 100 arrived at Cranwell in July 2017.
