SAAB SK.60 - Sweden

One of the many special and rare participants at this year's Air Tattoo will be the SAAB 105, known as the Sk.60 in the Swedish Air Force which has been serving as Sweden's primary jet trainer since 1967. The parallel seating arrangement of the instructor and student allows the instructor to see everything the student is doing. The high wing configuration affords the crew superb visibility and for a short period, a version of the Sk.60 was used as a ground attack aircraft. Flown by the Swedish national aerobatic team, Team 60, a solo display by the Swedish Air Force of this trainer is very rare and therefore we are lucky to provided this display for 2022. A second Sk.60 will also appear in the static display.
