SAAB T-17 Supporter (x6)

Making their RIAT debut this year will be the Royal Danish Air Force display team, Baby Blue. The team are known all over Europe for flying a four-ship of the SAAB T-17 Supporter basic trainer and last appeared in the UK during 2019. The team have since expanded to fly six aircraft for the 2022 season and RAF Fairford will be the first time this new formation will be seen in the UK. In service with the RDAF since 1975 as their primary basic trainer, they previously attended the Air Tattoo with a T-17 in 2010 when an example appeared on static display. The team also hope to bring along as one of their display aircraft a Supporter that has been specially painted to the mark the 75th anniversary of the DH Chipmunk which was previously flown by the Danish military.
