Scottish Aviation Bulldog Mk.124 - Civilian

The well-respected Bulldog once offered the first taste of 'hands on' flying for many Royal Air Force pilots. Purchased by the RAF in 1972, they served as the basic flying trainer and as the standard mount of University Air Squadrons around the country. Despite being a basic trainer, it was a rugged airframe and capable of performing aerobatics and has since found popular use amongst private operators. The RAF sold its remaining Bulldogs in 2001.

This example appearing on static at RIAT 2022 was the development prototype for the Bulldog and became the only example of the type to carry weapons.
