Slingsby T67M-260 Firefly
Replacing the Bulldog in RAF service as their basic trainer between 1995 and 2010, the Yorkshire built Slingsby T-67 Firefly quickly found success world wide in the role. The largest operator was the US Air Force who operated the Firefly as the T-3A. The USAF operated a fleet of 113 aircraft at two locations including the USAF Academy in Colorado up until the entire fleet was scrapped in 2006 following a decision to no longer provide flight training to non-flying cadets.
