Socata TB30 Epsilon (x2)
Ordered by the Portuguese Air Force in 1987 the Socata TB30 Epsilon serves as one of the air arms trainer aircraft operated from Beja Air Base by Esquadra 101. The Epsilon began development in 1978 in response to a French Air Force requirement for a basic trainer to partially replace the Fouga Magister and first flew in 1979 with deliveries commencing to the French Air Force in 1983. Following the retirement of the French fleet in 2019 Portugal are now the final operator of the type in Europe and have not been seen at RIAT since 2002.
