THE ROYAL INTERNATIONAL AIR TATTOO 2025 ('RIAT 2025')

TICKET & ENTRY TERMS & CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions ("Terms and Conditions") apply to RIAT 2025, please read them carefully before purchasing any tickets. All tickets are sold or provided subject to availability and to these Terms and Conditions.

  1. RIAT 2025 is organised by The Royal Air Force Charitable Trust Enterprises (registered company no. 2190393) (the "Organisers"), its RIAT 2025 Executive Committee and their respective employees, contractors, servants and agents.
  2. These Terms and Conditions create a legal agreement between you and the Organisers relating to your booking and attendance at RIAT 2025. These Terms and Conditions also apply to entry by any person holding a complimentary admission or passes.
  3. Any access within areas controlled by RIAT 2025 is by permission only. The purchaser or holder of a ticket (the "Ticket Holder") is permitted entry (valid only for the applicable date(s) which the ticket relates to) to:
    • for general admission tickets - the areas of RAF Fairford (including car parks) designated by the Organisers as being open to general admission ticket holders during RIAT 2025 (the 'Showground');
    • for Park and View tickets - the designated car parks on the Park & View days of Wednesday 16, Thursday 17 and Monday 21 July
    • for Enclosure tickets - the Showground and the designated enclosures corresponding to the particular enclosure ticket.
  4. Access to the RIAT 2025 car parks is not permitted without an admission ticket on the public days of Friday 18, Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 July. Access to car parks on the Park & View days of Wednesday 16, Thursday 17 and Monday 21 July is only permitted with a Park and View ticket purchased in advance or with the intent to purchase and subsequent purchase of a Park and View ticket on the day.
  5. Access for Ticket Holders to applicable areas shall be permitted during the following times (subject always to at the Organisers' discretion, including due to operational or health and safety reasons):
    1. Wednesday 16 July - Park & View areas - 7.30am - 5.30pm
    2. Thursday 17 July - Park & View areas - 7.30am - 5.30pm
    3. Friday 18 July - Showground - 7.30am - 6.00pm
    4. Saturday 19 July - Showground - 7.30am - 7.30pm
    5. Sunday 20 July - Showground - 7.30am - 7.30pm
    6. Monday 21 July - Park & View areas - 7.30am - 4.30pm
  6. Cancellations, date changes and lost tickets:
    1. Ticket orders may be cancelled or exchanged within 2 working days of purchase. After this period, all tickets become non-refundable.
    2. Order changes are only possible if tickets for both the original and new dates/types are still available for sale. Changes are subject to a non-refundable administration fee of £25 per booking. For enclosure bookings, any previously issued passes must be returned before new passes can be issued. Please note: Any changes made to your ticket booking will not modify the original booking date associated with your tickets, and the same cancellation policy outlined in clause 6(a) will apply.
    3. All requests for cancellations or changes should be made by calling Customer Services 01285 713456 (9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday).
    4. Enclosure packs for Aviation Club, First Class Lounge and Lightning Pavilion will be posted prior to the show. Lost or damaged enclosure passes cannot be replaced. In the event of loss or damage please contact Customer Services on 01285 713456. The Ticket Holder details will be passed to the enclosure to allow the Ticket Holder access, however both the admission and enclosure e-tickets will be required to gain entry.
    5. Tickets to RIAT 2025 are non-transferable and the Ticket Holder shall not sell or attempt to sell the ticket to any third party.
  7. Attendance at RIAT 2025:
    1. The Ticket Holder agrees to follow all reasonable instructions of the Organisers and staff during the RIAT 2025.
    2. The Ticket Holder acknowledges that the Showground and Park & View areas are subject to strict security arrangements and that the Organisers may carry out security checks (including, but not limited to, checks of the Ticket Holder's person, belongings and vehicle).
    3. The Ticket Holder shall act responsibly at all times and not do anything to endanger the safety of any person or property at the Showground or the Park and View areas.
    4. Shelters and stepladders up to 1.2 metres in height are allowed to be bought into RIAT 2025 however they are not allowed within 10m of the crowdline so that they do not obstruct the view of others.
    5. Smoking (including vaping) within the Enclosures is only allowed in Outdoor Designated Smoking Areas, as determined by the Organisers and indicated with appropriate signage and is not allowed in any event structure at RIAT 2025 or within 10 metres of any aircraft.
    6. The following items may not under any circumstance be brought onto the Showground and Park & View areas: explosive substances or materials, pyrotechnics, offensive weapons and firearms (including replica or toy firearms), projectiles and similar devices; placards, flags, banners, signs, brochures and leaflets intended for distribution to the public; megaphones, amplifiers, loud speakers, lights and laser pointers; paint, chemicals, spray cans and other associated apparatus; kites, remotely controlled model aircraft, drones or similar devices; bicycles, barbecues, birds or animals (including any within vehicles in the car parks) except assistance dogs and any other item which, in the opinion of the Organisers, may cause personal injury or property damage, disruption to RIAT 2025, public nuisance or inconvenience, offence or distress or security risks.
    7. The Ticket Holder acknowledges that the flying of drones or small unmanned aircraft is prohibited in or around the airspace of RAF Fairford, Article 239 of the Air Navigation Order grants RIAT 2025 Restricted Airspace between Wednesday 16 and Monday 21 July to allow safe conduct of the event and contravention may constitute a criminal act.
    8. Ticket Holders should keep their personal belongings with them at all times and the Organisers accept no liability for damage to, or loss (including theft) of, personal belongings or vehicles while on or at the venue.
    9. Additional terms relating to the venue and RIAT 2025 may be notified by the Organisers to Ticket Holders by notices prominently displayed at the Showground and Park & View areas during RIAT 2025 and such additional terms shall be deemed incorporated into these Terms and Conditions.
    10. The Organisers reserve the right to refuse admission to RIAT 2025, or to remove any person or vehicle from the venue or any particular area for reasons of public safety, unacceptable behaviour likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury, or for any breach of these Terms and Conditions.
  8. Filming, photography and other content:
    1. The Ticket Holder shall not without the Organisers' prior written consent sell, license, or otherwise commercially exploit, or attempt to commercially exploit, any material relating to RIAT 2025 whether written or in the form of digital or photographic film, sound, video including livestreaming or other recording or computer software whether obtained or made at the Showground or within the Park & View areas or otherwise.
    2. The Ticket Holder acknowledges that the Showground, Park and View areas and events held at them may be photographed or filmed. The Ticket Holder agrees to the use and exploitation of video or picture images or recordings including sound featuring the Ticket Holder taken by or on behalf of the Organisers at the Showground or Park & View areas during or in connection with RIAT 2025 for any and all purposes determined by the Organisers, including for commercial purposes, in any and all media whatsoever (whether in existence now or in the future) around the world without further authorisation, notification or payment. The Ticket Holder hereby waives any rights of objection in connection with such use or any so-called personality, image or privacy rights in connection with such use.
  9. Cancellation and changes to RIAT 2025:
    1. The Organisers reserve the right at any time to cancel or postpone RIAT 2025 or to cancel, postpone or vary any event comprising part of RIAT 2025, including due to any event outside of the reasonable control of the Organisers affecting the performance of its obligations or the running of RIAT 2025, including without limitation unavailability of the venue or participants, civil commotion, riot, invasion, Royal mourning, national mourning, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not), natural disasters, adverse weather conditions, pandemic or epidemic or any law or action taken by a government or public authority.
    2. We will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to notify you of any cancellation or rescheduling of RIAT 2025. Please be aware that it may be necessary to cancel RIAT 2025 and announce rescheduled dates on short notice.
    3. Should weather or other circumstances require flying to be curtailed or restricted, where possible aircraft will be taxied and other exhibits and displays will be available. For the avoidance of doubt, this shall not constitute a cancellation of RIAT 2025.
    4. In event of cancellation or rescheduling of RIAT 2025, the Organisers may offer Ticket Holders tickets to a substitute or rescheduled event or the option to donate the ticket price as a charitable donation as an alternative to receiving a refund, or Ticket Holders may instead opt to receive a refund. Where tickets to a substitute or rescheduled event are available, you will be notified and given not less than 30 days from the date of notice of cancellation of the Event in which to confirm your preference (unless the rescheduled or substitute event is to be held sooner than 30 days from the date of notice of cancellation, in which case you may be offered the option of a ticket to that event or an alternative substitute event to be held at a later date). In the absence of a response within such period, the Organisers will provide you with tickets to a substitute or rescheduled event. Refunds will be paid within 14 days beginning on the date on which you confirm to the Organisers you wish to receive a refund (or if no substitute or rescheduled event is offered, 14 days of confirmation that no substitute or rescheduled event will be offered). If the Organisers cannot make payment of refunds within these periods due to events outside of the reasonable control of the Organisers, you will be kept informed and payments will be made within a reasonable time.
    5. The Organisers' liability for cancellation or rescheduling or failure to deliver RIAT 2025 shall be limited to providing tickets to a substitute or rescheduled event or providing a refund in accordance with paragraph 10 d) and the Organisers shall have no further liability to any Ticket Holder in relation to any other costs or expenses, including without limitation, the costs of any travel, accommodation or other arrangements made in connection with RIAT 2025.
  10. Liability:
    1. In this section, the "RIAT Parties" means The Ministry of Defence of the United Kingdom, The Royal Air Force, the Department of Defense of the United States of America and any other US governmental agencies, The Royal Air Force Charitable Trust and the Organisers and the RIAT 2025 Executive Committee together with their respective Affiliates, employees, contractors, servants and agents.
    2. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit the liability of any of the RIAT Parties for death or personal injury resulting from its negligence or for any other liability which cannot be excluded by law.
    3. Subject to paragraph 10 b), whilst the Organisers take reasonable care to ensure the safety of the event, the Ticket Holder acknowledges that they may be exposed to possible risk of physical harm or property damage due to the nature of RIAT 2025 and the Ticket Holder enters and brings any vehicle or property onto the Showground, Park & View areas and surrounding areas entirely at their own risk.
    4. Other than where the Ticket Holder suffers personal injury or death or property damage resulting from the negligence of a RIAT Party, the Ticket Holder acknowledges that the RIAT Parties will not be liable for any loss or damage that the Ticket Holder may suffer as a result of purchasing a ticket and/or gaining access to the Showground and Park & View areas. This exclusion applies whether the liability arises in contract or tort ((including negligence and negligent misstatement) or for misrepresentation, breach of statutory duty or otherwise).
    5. Subject to paragraph 10 b), in no circumstances will the RIAT Parties be responsible to the Ticket Holder for any economic loss of any kind, loss of profits, loss of contracts, loss of earnings or loss of revenues or for any indirect or consequential loss or damage.
    6. Subject to paragraph 10 b), the maximum aggregate liability on the part of the RIAT Parties shall be limited to the face value of the ticket of the relevant Ticket Holder.
  11. Data Protection:
    1. The Ticket Holder acknowledges that in connection with purchasing tickets for or attending RIAT 2025, the Ticket Holder will provide the Organisers with certain personal data, such as names and contact details.
    2. The Organisers are the controller of your data and are committed to ensuring your personal data is stored safely and in compliance with all applicable data protection legislation in force from time to time in the UK. We will process your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy
  12. General:
    1. The Organiser may transfer its rights and obligations under the Terms and Conditions to another organisation, but this will not affect your rights or the Organisers obligations under these Terms and Conditions and you will be notified in writing if this happens. You may only transfer your rights or your obligations under these Terms and Conditions to another person if the Organiser agree in writing.
    2. These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Organisers and the Ticket Holder. You acknowledge that you have not relied on any statement, promise or representation made or given by or on behalf of the Organisers which is not set out in these Terms and Conditions.
    3. If for any reason any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed and the remainder of the Terms and Conditions shall continue in full force and effect.
    4. The RIAT Parties may enforce their rights and enjoy the benefits given under paragraphs 10 of these Terms and Conditions against the Ticket Holder. Otherwise, a person who is not a party to the agreement formed between the Organisers and the Ticket Holder on these Terms and Conditions will not have any right to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any provision of these Regulations.
    5. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the Ticket Holder agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts over any matter arising under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions.
