Boeing KC-46A Pegasus
The Boeing KC-46A is a multi-mission aerial refueler based on the Boeing 767 airliner. The Pegasus can convert between cargo, passenger and aeromedical evacuation modes in just two hours and is compatible with all U.S. Air Force loaders.
To date, the USAF has received 84 KC-46s which are operated by the Air Material Command, Air Education and Training Command, Air Mobility Command, Air Force Reserve Command, and the Air National Guard. There are now more KC-46As in operation globally than any other tanker except the Boeing-built KC-135 Stratotanker.
A single USAF KC-46A will be appearing on static display at this year’s Air Tattoo as part of our NATO 75th celebrations, the aircraft will be provided by the 108th Wing of the New Jersey Air National Guard.
