Pilatus PC-24
The PC-24 is twin-engined business jet which originates from the Swiss manufacturer Pilatus. The PC-24 is designed to have a flight envelope of a turboprop but with a cabin the size of a jet powered transport. Unlike many small business jets, the PC-24 can operate from unprepared grass or gravel airfields in addition to traditional paved runways which makes it ideal for use in remote areas. In addition, the aircrafts advanced cockpit which was co-developed with Honeywell has resulted in it being certified to be flown by a single pilot. The PC-24 has been ordered by the Swiss and Qatari air forces, who will both use the type a military transport aircraft.
Pilatus will be providing their PC-24 development aircraft for static display at this year’s Air Tattoo.
