Pipistrel Velis Electro (x2)

The Pipistrel Velis Electro is the world’s first electric powered aircraft to receive a Type Clearance Certificate. As a result, the aircraft can be used commercially or for formal pilot training. The battery can be charged from 30% to 100% in under two hours and the aircraft can fly for 50 minutes at a maximum speed of 113 miles per hour.

NEBOair distribute the Pipistrel around the UK and are currently developing a national charging network.

After making its debut at RIAT 2022, NEBAair will be sending a pair of Velis Electros to RIAT 2024 for static display as part of our Pushing the Boundaries of Air and Space theme.
