Tecnam P2006T

The Tecnam P2006T is a twin-engine light aircraft built in Naples Italy and features four seats and retractable undercarriage. Its twin Rotax engines can run on both Avgas but also standard 92 octane unleaded fuel, the same as most cars. NASA have also developed the aircraft into the X-57 which is electric.

The Tecnam is operated by the RAF Rapid Capabilities Office, this branch of the RAF supports the delivery of capability to the armed forces through novel and innovative ways of working. Rapid Capabilities Office programmes extend beyond equipment delivery into information analysis, and people and process improvements.

The RAF RCO will be providing their Tecnam for static display at this year’s Air Tattoo as part of our Pushing the Boundaries theme.
